I'm so excited to be working with our Gillett Elementary students to support their reading!

My name is Mrs. Britton! I am a Licensed Reading Teacher, Literacy Coach, and Reading Specialist, and have a B.S. in Human Development and an M.A. in Literacy. I am Trained in Orton-Gillingham Methodologies, Words Their Way Methodologies, Kagan Structures and so much more.  I have had formal training directly from Tim Rasinski, Jan Richardson, Kathy Koch, Lori Desautels, MindSpark, Harvard School of Education, Howard Gardner, the Creators of PALS, Dibels, and STARS, and many more.  I teach all areas of general education, but my passions are Literacy, Dyslexia, Celebrating Kids, and Furthering My Own Learning.
