The Gillett  School District seeks a highly skilled, motivated, energetic and creative teacher to serve our 7-8 grade students at Gillett Middle School. The ideal candidate will be part of an outstanding middle school team and have teaching responsibilities in the area of ELA, math and science.  Having a strong background in NGSS and Common Core ELA standards is highly desired.

Candidates must be student-centered, be able to work successfully as part of a team and be committed to differentiating instruction to meet the needs of individual learners.  The ideal candidate must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work and communicate with students, parents, and staff.  Candidates must have the ability to provide a secure, comfortable, respectful, and inviting learning atmosphere which motivates and challenges students to achieve at their highest level.

Junior High Football Coach (2 Positions)

Gillett School District are seeking applicants for two (2) Junior High Football Coaching positions beginning immediately. Qualifications for the position include a knowledge of the sport and prior coaching experience, preferably at the high school level.

Applicants must:
1. Be able to work collaboratively with players, educators, parents, coaches, media and administrators
2. Be able to model behavior which is expected in their coaching
3. Possess strong interpersonal communication skills
4. Possess, or be able to obtain, coaching education requirements as laid out by WIAA requirements
5. Possess, or be able to obtain, First Aid/CPR/AED training as required by the WIAA
6. Be able to pass a Criminal Background Check

Responsibilities include: Regular attendance at all practices and competitions, creation and execution of practice plans, work cooperatively with the High School program, communication with parents/guardians of players, responsible supervision of all team members during any team-oriented events. maintaining accurate records of all issued equipment.

Substitute staff needed for Special Education Paraprofessional Aides. These positions will be on a fill in basis and hours will vary.  Candidate should have experience working with children with exceptional needs, be able to work directly with teachers, provide instructional support to students, have or be able to obtain the appropriate licensure from WI Dept of Public Instruction.

Substitute staff needed for the Kitchen. These positions will be on a fill in basis and hours will vary, but are typically needed for 2 1/2 hours per day.  Candidate need no experience or license.
